Here it is, you guys!! The cover for Chasing Earth: Saving Askara Part II (coming August 2018). Had a great time in Book Wyrms today (big wave if you were there 😃). I have to thank Maria Spada, again. She's just so damn talented. Blows me away every time (and such as sweetheart)😘
Now, I know it's not your typical sci/fi rom cover (with H and/or h) but I really wanted to focus on her eye(s) because *spoiler alert* that's the dramatic ending scene of book 1, yes? And if you look real close at the pupil...😮👏

ReplyDeleteCan it be next week??? Pretty please! With sugar on top!
ReplyDeleteLOL (Angi). You guys are the best <3 <3 I can't wait to get it out to you, I swear. So far, it's on schedule for end of August :D I'll be sure to post another lil teaser soon ;)
ReplyDeleteOk...we made it halfway through July. Only another and half to go! Yay!
ReplyDeleteYaz Cassandra! <3 Still on schedule, I'm so proud Lol ;)
DeleteHi. Um...I rarely do this, mostly because I'm a shy person (even online, weird as that sounds), I was still compelled to leave a comment :D
ReplyDeleteI REALLY loved your book, and am excitedly anticipating its sequel Chasing Earth (gorgeous cover, by the way). You have a wonderful writing style and for me the story flowed amazingly. I couldn't put it down until it was finished, and then I had to savor it again a few days later, which let me tell you, does not happen often!
I very much appreciate when authors make their otherworldly heroes truly different, and you succeeded beautifully with the Askari in their appearance, mannerisms and culture. Oh, and Tory is such a delight! I love that she's so open, mostly patient, and a bit cautious with Aderus - who is reserved, hesitant, but so endearingly curios. I don't know, their interactions just...(I'm not sure if this is the right word, but) they feel TRUE, and I love that.
So...THANK YOU for a wonderful story and I dearly hope to read many more from you, be it about the Askari or something entirely different.
Best wishes from a Slovenian fan :D
Hi Diyana! I am so touched you took the time (and courage) to comment <3 Believe it or not, I'm a bit shy myself ;) Just gotta say, you hit the nail on the head! It actually took me a long time to develop my writing style and I try very hard for that real, or as you said, "true" feeling, flow and "different-ness" to my heros so your comment really made my week Lol. And don't you worry- there is no shortage of stories swimming around this crazy brain, itching to get out. Muhahaha. <3 P.S. Slovenia! (jaw drop) So cool.
DeleteHi Niami :D Not that I don't adore my fellow authors' works, but totally hear you on the covers LOL. And Wow back at ya! Thank you SO much for your Beautiful comment <3<3 Let me tell you, it's feedback like that from lovely people such as yourself that gives my muse the kick it sometimes needs to 'Get to work!' But, yes. I do try hard for that different, unpredictable feeling, thank you so much for noticing :):) And for the cliffie-love Haha. Sorely needed, you're a doll ;)
