Don't know about you guys, but this summer seems to be going by WAY too fast. And I'm not just talking about the days. We actually live right down the road from a local cider mill and every year they open sooner and sooner. You won't hear me complain, cuz, fresh-made cider and doughnuts? Yes, please!😋 (my favorite flavors are plain and maple walnut, yum).
I can't even pretend that Fall isn't my favorite season🍁🍂 But somehow it feels wrong, decorating with green still on the trees lol. So, hold out just a little longer, August! Because I've still got word count to get in.
For those that follow me on FB, things are pretty much on schedule: I was shooting for Worlds to be 2/3 done, but it will definitely be 1/2 finished by next week. I also hoped to have a cover teaser by now but that news is actually super exciting. I'm setting up a collab with another awesome artist that couldn't get me onto her schedule until September 😀🤞💖
As far as release, I've decided book3 in the Askari series WILL be a pre-order and I'll keep you posted as soon as I can nail down a date and/or it's up on Amazon/Kindle.
Last but not least, Askara is being recorded for audiobook as we speak! Expect it available mid Sept, with Earth next in line, and for those on my mailing list--feel free to sign up under the 'Linked to JM' tab on this blog's landing page if you're not already😉--I will be sending out a blast once it's up with a chance to win a free copy😍 Keira Stevens is the narrator, I'm proud to say. Just so impressed with her real and rich sound; I could seriously listen to her all day. Not to mention the character voices/alien words😮 Can't wait!
