Long ago, there were born two worlds. Separated by two different universes but drawn together, time and again, by the primordial forces that birthed them. One ruled by magic, and the other, science...
My name is
Denne. Alyssa Denne of Mars colony 51, also known as Areus. I remember watching
it live, the day we launched the first ship to break the space-time barrier in
hopes of reaching the stars. I also remember what happened after, because the
space above Earth has never been the same since. That was over a year ago, and
life in the colonies has a way of keeping you busy. There are rumors—crazy
rumors. But I don’t really give them much thought.
Until the
day an unusual transport arrives, looking for volunteers and mysteriously
evading questions. A smart person would walk away. There’s just one small problem:
their offer includes a trip back to Earth.
*This is a
scifi-elven fantasy romance crossover with strong sexual content, including one
intense M/M scene. Intended only for readers over 18*

Yassss! New project reveal!!!
*cue fireworks, drumroll, dogs barking* ๐
To say I'm excited to share this new series I've been working on is probably a bit of an understatement. Fun fact: before I even knew scifi romance existed, I was a hard-core paranormal and fantasy reader, so I feel like there was no escaping I'd eventually have to write one of my own. And what fantasy creature did I crush on the hardest, you ask? Probably elves (you can see some parallels in the Askari *smirk*).
A few notes about this book, which I'm hoping will be the start to a fantastical new world and series:
- It's 1st person POV, which I enjoyed writing immensely. So easy compared to switching back and forth in 3rd! Wow.
- There's a lot more dialogue and interplay because we're dealing with species that communicate verbally, instead of non-verbally this time, so that makes it a faster read ๐
- Lastly, and this one's big... *SPOILER ALERT* For anyone that prefers their male leads 100% hetero, this probably isn't the book for you. I really debated revealing that, but I'd rather put the warning out there ahead of time (which I've also hinted at in the blurb) than have a lot of misled, confused and/or angry readers. To clarify, is this a M/F HEA? Absolutely. A standalone? Yup. But there is one scene before our M and F "get together" that I personally felt was too good to leave out, and is a defining aspect of our M's character.
This book poured out of me in a little over a month. A totally novel experience for my slower than dirt pace and I couldn't stop thinking about a quote I'd once read (to paraphrase): "Some books just flow beautifully, while others you have to chisel out of concrete."
Worlds has definitely been concrete lol. Actually, all the Askari books have, if I'm honest, because I'm constantly having to put myself into an alien mindset but it's all good๐๐ฝ I was just floored to learn I was capable of hitting 10K words in a day with Collide (holy crap, right?!). Go, me.
There's a new little progress bar to the right--currently @ 100% because the draft is finished, but I'll be updating that to an edit bar once I start working on those. These will definitely be the two books I release this year. Though, I'd love to squeeze one more out *wink*. More updates once I have them and yes, Worlds will be releasing first. You can count on it.
Earth is also being recorded by the fabulous Keira Stevens as I type this and should be available sometime next month on Audible, iTunes, etc. I'll post once it's live and we'll do some promo code giveaways ๐
Until then, hope you all are staying safe and healthy! Feel free to comment.
Hugs๐
